Here’s a special treat just for all of you Avril Lavigne fans out there who are eagerly waiting for “Twilight” to open tomorrow. I promised an update and here it is! Okay, okay, so it’s not too much more than what we already knew BUT, according to a source at People.com Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley were spotted “getting cozy” at Il Sole in West Hollywood. Reports said onlooker, “They were holding hands at the table then shared a tiramisu.”

Avril Lavigne was just given a SOCAN Award (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) for her songs, “Keep Holding On,” “When You’re Gone,” and “Girlfriend”!
Nelly Furtado and Michael Buble were also winners for “Say It Right” and “All Good Things Come to an End” (Furtado) and “Everything”. Nickelback won an International Achievement Award.

The CD series NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! are celebrating their10th anniversary (I’m 99% certain I actually have their very first one from back in 1998 lol!) with a new CD called, “THE BEST OF NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! 10TH ANNIVERSARY.”
The album will have hit songs from the past decade and be released on November 11th. Avril Lavigne is on it! Which Avril song? Who else made the cut?
