Avril Lavigne threw out the first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jay’s game Wednesday night.  We’ll try to hunt down some pictures, but here’s the video of her interview afterwards with some footage of the toss:

This past weekend, Avril Lavigne participated in the 16th Annual Race to Erase MS gala.  The charity gala was held in Los Angeles, California to raise millions of dollars to support research to find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS - a chronic neurological disease).  This eyar, the charity event was co-chaired by Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger.  It raised more than $2 million dollars this year!!

The theme was “Rock to Erase MS” and had performances by Michelle Branch and the Eagles.  Also in attendance was Angie Harmon, Amanda Bynes, Dustin Hoffman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Penny Marshall, Sela Ward, Bill Maher, Anne Heche, Teri Garr, Jewel and Kim Kardashian.

Congrats to the organizators of the event!  $2 million is awesome to raise, especially in this awful economy!

Uh-oh!  Do we need to be worried about Avril Lavigne?  The singer has now been spotted hanging out with oil-heir/Lindsay Lohan “Firecrotch” tormentor/multi-rehabber (cocaine, alcohol, etc) Brandon Davis twice in three days!  Here’s two shots of Avril and Brandon leaving the Los Angeles restaurant Pace on Tuesday night, December 2.  Once again, Deryck Whibley was nowhere in sight.  What’s the deal with that?  Could there really be some trouble after all?!  Note that in the second picture of them in the car together, Brandon’s got a cigarette in hand.  We really hope Avril didn’t start smoking with him after they closed the car door.  We’d hate to see her ruin her voice that way.  And in the first picture, note how that same girl that was hanging out with Avril in the previous pictures and the video below is there.  Who is she?

When she wasn’t helping Paris Hilton get over Benji Madden this weekend, Avril Lavigne was…bowling! Avrilwas one of several guest stars at the opening of a new bowling alley in Los Angeles’s downtown area. And yes, husband Deryck Whibley was with her! Avril reportedly did really well with the bowling, getting several strikes. Other celebs who were there were Paris and Nicky Hilton, David Arquette, and Christina Milian.

Avril Lavigne has signed an endorsement deal with Canon Canada to promote its Rebel digital SLR cameras and ELPH compact point-and-shoot cameras.  During a press conference to announce the deal, Avril did not field any questions from press, but told the moderator, Stacey Englehart of local rock station Z103.5, “Canon is a great brand with great products.  I’m always taking photos and the great thing about digital photography today is you have so many different settings and you can take a million pictures and delete all the bad ones.”

Although Avril prefers the pink version, the camera comes in 5 colors.  You can check out Avril’s ads for the camera under the “video” section of Canon’s site, www.shootlikeastar.ca.  Fans can also contribute to the gallery section, where they can upload personal photographs and customize them with various images from Lavigne’s ads, including tiaras, feather boas and balloons.[Source]

Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley were seen at Italian restaurant Madeo last night, perhaps trying to stop rumors that they’re getting divorced?  TMZ took this video and it’s just awful how they treat Avril.  You can hear the paparazzi yelling things like “No spitting!” (Avril spit at a paparazzi last year) and harassing her and Deryck.  Watch the video here.
