Avril Lavigne has confirmed what we basically all already knew/hoped - that her new album is due out in November 2009!  She also revealed in an interview with Elle magazine that a song written for the Black Star commercial may be one of the singles off the new album!

Avril Lavigne must have toured with the Black Eyed Peas back in 2005 when they were promoting their album “Monkey Business” because I came across this photo accidentally while looking thru some photos labeled “Black Eyed Peas”!  This photo was taken of Avril performing on stage in Milan, Italy at the very end of May 2005.  Is that her friend/original guitar player Evan Taubenfeld with her?

Avril Lavigne threw out the first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jay’s game Wednesday night.  We’ll try to hunt down some pictures, but here’s the video of her interview afterwards with some footage of the toss:

Avril Lavigne and husband Deryck Whibley attended the birthday party for Riley Keough (Elvis Presley’s granddaughter) the other night.  The party was at El Cid nightclub and filled with celebs.  Though we do have one question: If Riley turned 20 years old, she’s not legally allowed to drink in the United States, yet her birthday party was held at a club in Los Angeles, California.  Huh.  Go figure.  Those crazy celebs and their disregard for the laws!

Uh-oh! Looks like Avril Lavigne’s super stardom is starting to show a little bit - girl needed help pumping her own gas on her way to dinner on Monday night.  Too many bodyguards do it in the past for you, Avril?  Ah, we’re just joking.  Avril & her friend/assistant/whoever that girl is that’s always with her had some trouble pumping her own gas on Monday and had to ask a paparazzo to help her.  Guess they’re not all that bad to have around!  As you saw in yesterday’s pictures, Avril spilled gas on her jeep and had to clean it off.  Which is a lot better than when I, who knows how to pump gas, do it.  Heck, half the time, I’ll just leave the petrol on it!  Glad Avril takes better care of her stuff!

Yesterday (May 25) was Memorial Day in the United States - how did YOU spend your 3-day weekend?  Avril Lavigne spent hers…pumping gas!  Avril and a friend (who we believe is that blonde girl always spotted with her in pictures of her going clubbing) were spotted at the beach in Malibu (pictures here) then later on pumping gas while in long, flowy dresses (and a graffiti covered truckers’ hat for Avril, of course).  Afterwards, the girls headed into Taverna Tony’s restaurant for dinner.

Spotted again!  Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley were seen doing a little bit of shopping at Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills, California last weekend.  They looked tired, don’t you think?  What do you think of Avril’s Little Miss Rockstar t-shirt?  Do you think that Deryck’s shirt with the pink skulls was designed by Avril?
