X-Factor 2008 contestant Diana Vickers did a rendition of Avril Lavigne’s song, “Girlfriend” on the show this past week.  She got kicked off, but we’ve got the video below of her performance.  What do you think?  She certainly does her best to look like Avril and sing like her. Wow! Thanks to all her fans who played her “Girlfriend” video so much on YouTube, Avril Lavigne is set to get a fat $2 million check!!! And next up, they’ll be targeting Avril’s fans in the Far East. Says Terry McBride, CEO of Nettwerk Management, “We will start a Mandarin website (for Lavigne) with Mandarin ads and we will make a shitload of money, because 40 percent of her intellectual property value comes from Asia.”

Avril Lavigne’s back to work! After canceling several shows when she came down with acute laryngitis at the beginning of this month, she’s back on the Best Damn Tour, this time in Europe. She started off last night in Glasgow, Scotland at the Academy. Check out this video of her singing “Girlfriend,” which she has been using to open up each night of the tour.  What do you think?  Think she’s sounds good?
